 Printmaking 


Styrofoam 
Draw on paper, put on top of Styrofoam and trace
 Put paint on roller, roll on Styrofoam and transfer onto paper 


 This Activity in Action

  1. Give students paper to draw an image
  2. Tape that paper to a piece of Styrofoam
  3. Go over the image age and imprint it on the Styrofoam 
  4. Remove paper
  5. go over image on Styrofoam once again
  6. Paint Styrofoam with a roller 
  7. Lay paper down
  8. Place painted side of Styrofoam down on paper
  9. Lift Styrofoam up and the image is printed
Cardboard
Part 1: Cut image out of cardboard, glue onto large cardboard piece 
Part 2: Put roller in paint, paint cardboard and transfer onto paper





 This Activity in Action

  1. Give students cardboard and something to cut with
  2. Students create an image or design
  3. Glue on another piece of cardboard
  4. Paint cardboard with a roller 
  5. Lay paper down
  6. Place painted side of cardboard down on paper
  7. Lift cardboard up and the image is printed
